Precasting Procedure for GU Manhole Base Liner

Concrete is poured around the liner while it is supported in an inverted position ensuring the utility of a minimum 4000+ PSI monolithic casting.
A high strength mechanical bond between liner and concrete is achieved by way of a well proven interface, consisting of specifically sized multi-faceted aggregate and steel spirals/lattice bonded to the outer surface of the FRP liner or with molded ribs in opposing directions on the vertical axis and waterstop turnbacks on the horizontal axis on the PP liner. |

GU recommends the top of the first joint be a minimum of 12" above the benching
surface and may be increased as necessary
